The Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33. He left his gear in the middle of the ring after the match, a way to signify his retirement from professional wrestling. The Undertaker has likely wrestled his final match for WWE.
One of the things that was rumored about the Undertaker was that he needed hip surgery and was waiting until he retired to get the procedure(s) done.
The Sun.co.uk is currently reporting that the Undertaker was at the David H Koch Pavilion Hospital for surgery this week.
The hospital is located in New York and is ranked by USNews.com as being the top in the United States for orthopaedics and second for rhuematology.
It is unclear as of right now if he will need only one surgery or will be getting multiple procedures done. The Undertaker has been wrestling for over 30 years and has racked up the miles on his body.
