Tye Dillinger was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet. During the interview, he spoke about his release from WWE and more.
One of the interesting parts was when Dillinger spoke about what he thinks WWE is doing wrong. He also shared what he told Vince McMahon before he left the company.
Here is what he said (h/t to Sportskeeda for the quote below):
“If you are watching the product and two guys come out and you’re able to already tell what the finish is of that match, based on entrances alone, that’s a problem, because now we’re giving an audience an opportunity to change the channel or do this [press buttons] on their phone. They don’t care, they’re not invested.
And that is what I said to the chairman. I said, ‘With all due respect, I think we’re insulting their intelligence’ and he kind of just looked at me and went, ‘Oh s***.’”
Do you agree with Dillinger? Let me know in the comment section below.
On a related note, here is how Dillinger’s fiance, Peyton Royce, reacted to him wanting out of WWE.
