Some interesting WWE rumors were floating around early in the day on Monday. Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports posted that he has heard two WWE stars are refusing to work the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Fox was also the first to post the news about Roman Reigns being injured (which sadly turned out to be much worse than anyone thought).
Reigns revealed the heartbreaking news on RAW that his Leukemia has returned after 11 years. He relinquished the WWE Universal Championship in an emotional night.
Fox also says that both John Cena and Daniel Bryan are refusing to work the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Here is what he posted:
WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble.
I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are “refusing” to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.

With Fox being the first person to mention anything about Reigns, this makes his comments about Cena and Bryan very intriguing. Daniel Bryan is scheduled to face AJ Styles at the event for the WWE Championship. Cena is scheduled to be in the World Cup tournament.
On a related note, here is WWE’s statement on Reigns’ battle with Leukemia.
