According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, two members of the WWE creative team have been let go over the past week.
The first person mentioned as being let go by WWE is Steve Guerreri, who has been the co-lead writer of Smackdown Live.
According to the report, Guerreri had been working with WWE since around 2012.
The second person let go by the company was Steve Oppenheim, who was lead office writer of Monday Night RAW at WWE Headquarters.
It was noted that Oppenheim had been with WWE since 2011.
It is also worth mentioning that the report says these decisions were not made by Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman. Both of whom were recently named Executive Directors of WWE. These appear to be decisions made by Vince McMahon.
We will let you know if we hear anything more on their releases from the company.
