We are coming up close to Wrestlemania week. This year’s events will be hosted in New Orleans, Louisiana. The week doesn’t just feature events ran by WWE, multiple promotions will be hosting events in the city throughout the week.
There are going to be two things banned on all shows throughout the week.
John Pollock of POST Wrestling says that according to the Louisiana Boxing & Wrestling Commission, blood and piledrivers will be prohibited from events.
The reason for banning piledrivers is because of an injury several years ago according to the report. Also, all performers will have to have blood work completed that proves they are negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C.
I spoke with a member of the Louisiana Boxing & Wrestling Commission today and they confirmed that blood and piledrivers are prohibited on professional wrestling shows, regarding WrestleMania Week shows in and around New Orleans – will have info in news update @POSTwrestling

Piledrivers are already banned by WWE but not other promotions.
