In a recent interview with The Wrestling Estate, Jon Robinson revealed a few matches that had to be scrapped for Wrestlemania 34. For those who don’t know, Robinson is the author of the new book: Creating The Mania: An Inside Look at how WrestleMania Comes to Life.
The book is a behind-the-scenes look at how Wrestlemania 34 came to life. The author got access to some interesting stuff, including interviews about how storylines were developed and more.
Here is what Robinson said about the two matches that were scrapped:
“There were a lot of matches in play that could have completely changed the card. And then you hear from creative about injuries affecting things like Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose, and then Ambrose got injured.
They were also trying to do Kurt Angle vs. Jason Jordan, but then Jordan got injured.”
Seth Rollins ended up facing The Miz and Finn Balor at the event. Kurt Angle teamed with Ronda Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Would you have preferred Seth vs Dean and Kurt vs Jason? Let us know in the comment section below.
