WWE has signed a lot of big named talent from the independent scene over the past several months. This includes names like Ricochet and Candice LeRae.
A new report suggests that WWE has offered contracts to two more big independent names.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer says that Keith Lee has been offered a deal from WWE. Meltzer says that it is believed around the independent scene that Lee might be taking the offer. This is because he hasn’t been accepting bookings past May.
WWE has also apparently offered a contract to independent star Walter. Meltzer says that him accepting is not clear though as Walter has told him in the past that he wasn’t interested.
Meltzer says that both have been offered deals for Orlando starting in May. Meltzer adds that both are two of the top guys that aren’t currently under contract with a major promotion.
We will let you know if either ends up signing with the company.
