WWE has sent out various surveys over the years asking fans about other wrestling promotions potentially being added to the WWE Network. There have been plenty of rumors over the years but nothing has come to fruition.
We have the latest rumor to pass your way on the topic.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer reports that the current idea is for two promotions from the United Kingdom to be added to the WWE Network. These promotions are PROGRESS and ICW (Insane Championship Wrestling). Both have had working relationships with the WWE over the past few years.
It should be noted that Vince McMahon has changed his mind a few times on the topic. Meltzer says that if a deal is going to be made, it will be announced around the time of the UK Championship Tournament at Royal Albert Hall. That Tournament will take place on June 18th and 19th.
Speaking of the UK Championship, here are the first round matches for the tournament.
