Triple H was recently a guest on the CBS Sports “In This Corner Podcast.” During the interview, Triple H was asked for his opinion on Chris Jericho working for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Jericho shocked the wrestling world when it was announced that he will be facing Kenny Omega at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom event. This was seen as a surprise to many since Jericho hasn’t wrestled outside of WWE since 1999.
So what does Triple H think of it? Here is what he said on the podcast:
“I think it’s great. Good for Chris. It’s phenomenal. Good for Kenny, good for New Japan. We were aware. That was a conversation that was had.”
Triple H continued:
“It’s great, it’s good for him. Chris is one of the greatest talents in the history of the business, so I think it’s great. Good product is good product. I’m happy for them, happy for Chris and happy for everybody.”
Jericho also said that Vince McMahon was excited for him during a recent interview.
