Triple H was injured during the WWE Crown Jewel event a few months ago. He and Shawn Michaels defeated the Undertaker and Kane at the event.
After the match, it was revealed that Triple H had torn his pectoral muscle. He had surgery on November 6th to fix the issue.
Triple H provided an injury update on himself during the media call for NXT Takeover: Phoenix.
Here is what he said:
“I just got cleared to actually start training. Anyone that has been seriously injured knows the difference between rehabbing for a couple hours a day and then actually training is the difference between trying to get better and to better yourself.
I sit here right now extremely sore from that training. One week ago, I got the clearance, so training has been stepped up. I feel good”
Looks like he is making some solid progress. Could Triple H return in time for Wrestlemania 35? We will have to wait and see.
On a related note, Triple H provided an update on Lars Sullivan during the media call. You can check out his comments here.
