Triple H has to balance both working as a WWE talent on screen while being a top WWE executive backstage. That is only for the WWE main roster, he also is in charge of WWE NXT that runs weekly shows and is WWE”s developmental brand. In a recent interview with Muscle and Fitness (on news stands now), Triple H spoke about juggling different roles backstage and on screen. He also let readers know what exactly he is in charge of backstage.
Triple H on being a WWE executive and talent:
“Going from the locker room and the road to coming into the office and working with the executives, it’s a totally different mindset and culture. You have to learn how to switch hats quickly. Something I always marveled at when I would first come into the office was Vince’s ability to switch hats instantaneously. One minute he was looking at logo designs, the next minute he was making a decision about an international market, then 10 seconds later he was doing something creative that had to do with the show. And that’s what it takes because there’s so much flux” (Source: MuscleandFitness.com).
Triple H on what his role is backstage:
“I’m in charge of talent, live events, and a lot of the creative. I also have a lot of input with certain programming. To be honest, if I weren’t on the show every week my life would be a whole lot easier. It takes up a lot of time”(Source: MuscleandFitness.com).
Interesting read for sure! It is crazy to think how busy Triple H is and how many roles he plays for the WWE. He must not get a lot of sleep doing what he does! Maybe this is the reason that the WWE has kept him off TV since WrestleMania to give the guy a bit of break. Fans have been asking for the ending of The Authority angle with him and his wife Stephanie McMahon. Let Triple H focus on all of his backstage duties and let Shane McMahon run the show!
