4) Shane McMahon Does Not Need Another Match
When Shane McMahon returned last year, this came as a shock to the whole wrestling world. Nobody expected to see Shane McMahon return to the WWE, let alone return to the ring one last time.
The match between him and The Undertaker delivered for what both men at their age could do. Since it was Hell in a Cell, nobody wanted to see Shane O’ Mac jump off the cell or do something crazy due to his age and we didn’t know how he was holding up health wise.
Shane put himself through a table and made his supposed last match a memorable one. On that night, Shane felt like he had something to prove, that he still has it.
Fast forward to November at the Survivor Series, he went for a “Coast-To-Coast” and got speared by Roman Reigns, and it looked brutal. It was rumored that he had a concussion but I don’t believe that it was confirmed. After what he’s done last year, and his career, he does not need another match.
Shane has well proven that he can still hang with the boys and he’s left a great career behind him. Fans will always remember his career and the entertaining matches that he has been a part of.
There is really no reason for him to compete and take someone’s place on the card.
