Tony Khan Explains Why Hulk Hogan Is Banned From Attending AEW Shows

A few days ago, Tony Khan responded to Linda Hogan’s tweet by saying, “You’ve now joined your husband as being banned from all AEW shows. Congratulations.” This came out of the blue because there was never a story that went around about Hulk Hogan being banned from AEW shows.

Dave Meltzer revealed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Tony Khan has told people since day one that he would never use Hulk in AEW:

Khan had told people from day one that he would never use Hulk Hogan

Meltzer also quoted Khan as saying the following in regards to why he won’t work with Hogan:

“What he said on the tape, long before George Floyd, I’ve told people I can’t work with Hulk Hogan. How can I look my Black friends, football players, employees in the face or myself in the mirror after the things he said and has never given an adequate apology for. He can’t blame what he said on tape on the dangers of social media.”

There you have it. Don’t expect Hulk to appear on AEW programming anytime soon.

On a related note, here are some details on the email that Vince McMahon sent to his employees about diversity.
