Today’s WWE TV Tapings Described As Being A “Total Clown Show”

There are multiple reports that it has been a frustrating day at the WWE Performance Center. WWE is trying to tape several of their upcoming shows today and they also have to test every employee for COVID-19.

Mike Johnson of PWinsider reports that several WWE employees they spoke to are frustrated with what has gone at the Performance Center today. Here is what he wrote:

WWE has yet to begin taping television and are about 40 minutes behind schedule currently.

There are still talents and staff waiting outside for their COVID-19 test results to come in as they will not be allowed into the Performance Center until they are cleared to do so.

We have heard from a number of people that this has been a very frustrating morning and they just want to get through the day, but they haven’t even had a chance to start the process yet.

@Wrestlevotes also posted a conversation with a WWE source, asking if things were a mess at the Performance Center. The source responded by saying that it is a “total clown show”:

“How can I put this nicely: a complete, unbelievable, lack of leadership, full blown CLUSTERf–k. They should be embarrassed. Total clown show”

It has also been reported that WWE canceled their planned Smackdown taping for today and it will be moved to a later date.
