TLC Match Changed Due To Recent Suspension

It was announced this week that Robert Roode & Primo Colon had been suspended by WWE for 30 days. This came after they both failed WWE’s wellness policy.

According to a report, Roode’s suspension ended up changing the plans for a match at the TLC PPV.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode were originally scheduled to face The New Day at TLC for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

Roode’s suspension caused WWE to change their plans. The Revival will now be facing off against The New Day at the PPV instead.

My Take: This does make sense as Ziggler and Roode won that tag team battle royal at Survivor Series. Why else would WWE have them win that if they didn’t plan on giving Roode & Ziggler a future Title shot?

Would you have preferred Roode & Ziggler vs The New Day or The Revival vs The New Day? Let me know in the comment section below.
