1) Daniel Bryan Warned Shane McMahon That He Is Turning Into His Father
This weeks episode of Smackdown Live kicked off with Daniel Bryan. This comes only a few days after what happened at Clash of Champions between him and Shane McMahon. After a few minutes, Shane joined Daniel in the ring. Both men explained their actions from Sunday.
During the segment, Daniel told Shane that he has been acting a lot like his father: Vince McMahon. Daniel told Shane: “I don’t want to see Shane O’ Mac turn into Mr. McMahon”. This was a great line and some great storytelling after Shane has been acting like a tyrant, trying to get Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens fired.
“Are you saying I should’ve done what’s best for business? I fought against those words! If you want to fire somebody… FIRE ME!” – @WWEDanielBryan! #SDLive #WWEAustralia pic.twitter.com/lAlBycNo78

2) Daniel Bryan’s Job As General Manager Is Safe…..For Now
With the tension building between Daniel & Shane McMahon, there were some questions raised about whether or not they could work together on Smackdown Live.
On Smackdown this week, Daniel told Shane to fire him if he doesn’t agree with him. Shane chose not to fire Daniel. Looks like his job is safe, for now.

There is no question that the Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon tension has been some entertaining television over the past few weeks. This week was another great segment between them where fans were waiting on the edge of their seats.
