20 Things That We Learned From RAW – June 4, 2018

1) A Nice Change Of Pace To Kick Off RAW This Week

Monday Night RAW this week kicked off with Elias, who was sitting in the middle of the ring. From my recollection, I can’t remember Elias starting off an episode. This was certainly a unique way to start instead of a promo from Kurt Angle or some of the usual people.

Fans seemed to dig the change of pace:

2) Elias Made A Good Joke About The Houston Rockets

RAW this week took place in Houston, Texas. If you are a basketball fan, you know that the Houston Rockets were just eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Golden State Warriors.

Elias had some fun with the fans in Houston, trolling them about Golden State.

3) Jonathan Coachman Missed RAW This Week

RAW this week featured a change on commentary. Michael Cole announced that Jonathan Coachman was “on assignment” this week. He was replaced by David Otunga.

4) The Referee Blew A Call In The Opening Match!

The first match on RAW was a tag team clash: Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins against Jinder Mahal and Elias. Near the end of the match, Seth was hit with a DDT on a steel chair by Elias. That seems like it should have been a disqualification but the referee didn’t call anything. Elias would go on to win the match.

A blown call by the official!
