17 Things That We Learned From RAW (January 1, 2018)

7) The Cruiserweight Title Match Was Re-Scheduled Due To Enzo Having The Flu

A few hours before RAW, news broke that Enzo Amore was in the hospital due to illness. As a result, he didn’t appear on Monday Night RAW, where he was supposed to defend his Cruiserweight Title against Cedric Alexander.

Nia Jax broke the news that Enzo was sent home and she was on her way to bring him soup:

8) Asuka Made Alexa Bliss Tap Out After A Lengthy Match.

RAW this week featured a non-title match between Alexa Bliss and Asuka. Alexa spent the first hour of the show trying to find someone to be in her corner and help her out.

They ended up wrestling a lengthy match. Asuka made Alexa tap with an armbar. Looks like Asuka will be getting a title shot very soon.

9) Braun Strowman Returned From Illness

It was announced over the past few days that Braun Strowman was pulled from WWE live events due to illness. It was later reported that Braun had the flu.

Good to hear that Braun isn’t going to miss a lengthy amount of time. To prove that he isn’t under-the-weather, he proceeded to destroy both Rhyno and Heath Slater…. Multiple times.
