17 Things That We Learned From RAW (February 5, 2018)

1) WWE’s Production Team Continues To Experiment With New Stuff

Monday Night RAW this week kicked off in a bit of a unique way. Instead of a promo segment in the ring or going straight to the match, we saw some backstage promos from Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. Not something that we often see on RAW.

On Smackdown Live last week we saw WWE experiment with on-screen graphics. Looks like they are seeing what works and what doesn’t. Regardless, a pretty unique opening to RAW this week.

2) Roman Reigns Has Qualified For The Elimination Chamber Match

Monday Night RAW this week featured a match between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. The winner would qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match in a few weeks.

Unsurprisingly, the match was won by Roman Reigns, giving him a spot in the Chamber.

3) The Matt Hardy-Bray Wyatt Feud Continues

After the match between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy appeared. Matt hit Bray with the ‘Twist of Fate’ to close the segment. It is clear that this feud is far from over.

If we had to guess, they will face off at the Elimination Chamber PPV in a weird gimmick match.

4) Not A Great Crowd Reaction For The Revival

One of the things that I noticed on RAW this week was the lack of crowd reaction for the Revival when they came to the ring. They are one of my favorite tag teams in WWE and it was a bit disheartening to see them not getting much reaction at all.

Hopefully, WWE keeps building them up because they are talented as hell. They ended up losing to Finn Balor and Karl Anderson this week.
