There Is Some Major Smoke To The Rumors Of A New Wrestling Promotion Started By The Jacksonville Jaguars Owner

There was an interesting rumor several weeks ago that suggested there had been discussions of a new wrestling promotion created by Tony Khan, who is the co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL. The rumors suggested that The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, and more could be involved.

There appears to be some major smoke to these rumors after some recent trademarks that were filed.

In early November, All Elite Wrestling, LLC filed for the following trademarks:

  • All Elite Wrestling
  • AEW Double Or Nothing
  • AEW All Out
  • AEW
  • Tuesday Night Dynamite
  • ALL OUT
  • Double Or Nothing

The interesting part is that the trademarks were filed from 1 TIAA Bank Field Drive in Jacksonville Florida. This is the address where the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium is located. This gives some obvious credence to the rumors that Tony Khan of the Jaguars is looking to get into wrestling.

‘Double or Nothing’ seems like it could be a sequel to the recent ‘All-In’ show that was run by Rhodes and the Young Bucks. This is still in the rumor phase but based on these names, it seems like the Elite could be involved.
