WWE has confirmed that Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks will be facing off on RAW this week. The winner will earn the first pick (of night 2) of the WWE Draft for their brand. Sasha will be representing Smackdown and Becky will be representing RAW.
I have a theory on what I think will happen in this match and how it will end.
The next PPV for the Women’s roster in WWE is Survivor Series. With that in mind, I think that Becky vs Sasha on RAW will build towards that PPV.
My theory is that Sasha is going to end up beating Becky on RAW. This will come after she receives some help from Bayley. It could be a distraction from Bayley that helps Sasha get the win. Or, Bayley could attack Becky while the referee isn’t looking. Either way, I have Bayley getting involved in the finish.
This works for a few reasons. The first is that it sets up Becky vs Bayley at Survivor Series. This seems like an easy way to build some heat towards their Champion vs Champion match at the event. It also gets Sasha a win, which she could use after losing to Becky at Hell in a Cell. With Sasha pinning Becky, that also saves a rematch between them for down the road. I know that they are on different brands now but you never know what can happen several months from now. I would not be opposed to another Sasha vs Becky match down the road.
Sasha winning would give Smackdown the first pick of night 2 in the Draft. Brock Lesnar getting drafted to Smackdown seems like a lay-up, so he would make sense in that spot.
