Sasha Banks and Bayley will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania 35. This will be a fatal 4-way match that also involves the teams of Nia Jax & Tamina, Beth Phoenix & Natalya, and the IIconics.
I am assuming that Sasha and Bayley will be retaining their Titles here. To me, it seems too early for them to drop the belts.
If I am right, I have a theory that I wanted to pass your way for them after Wrestlemania 35.
My theory is that Sasha & Bayley will be defending their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at the next Takeover event. This will be taking place on June 8th in San Jose.
This would make sense for a few reasons. The first is that Sasha and Bayley have already teased that they will be defending their Titles on all brands in WWE. This would be a way to show that they are willing to defend against anyone. San Jose is also Bayley’s hometown, so it could be a fun moment for her. San Jose also has a lot of history with the early days of NXT, so it could make sense for them to bring in some stars from the past like Sasha and Bayley for the show.
My guess is that if I am right, we will be getting Sasha and Bayley vs Kairi Sane and Io Shirai. This is a match that fans have wanted to see for quite some time and I think that it could be really good. Kairi and Io were against one another at Takeover: New York, but they could easily put them back together since it was every Woman for themselves.
