Theory On The Plans For Brock Lesnar’s Return To WWE

Brock Lesnar was recently confirmed for the next WWE PPV event in Saudi Arabia. News also broke that he has told UFC that he is retiring from Mixed Martial Arts.

What that tells me is that Brock has likely signed a new contract with WWE and will be sticking around television for the foreseeable future.

I have a theory that I wanted to pass your way for Brock’s return.

I have a feeling that Brock is going to appear at the Money in the Bank PPV. My guess is that he will interfere in the match between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship.

The idea here is for this match to end in a disqualification, without either Seth or AJ taking a loss. I think that WWE could get a couple of PPV matches out of that feud, so it would make sense for this one to not have a clean finish. Brock interfering would protect both guys and would save a future rematch between them at another PPV (like Summerslam).

This finish would also set-up Brock’s match at the next Saudi Arabia PPV. WWE could do Lesnar vs Styles vs Rollins for the Universal Title at the event. In my opinion, that would be a really solid triple threat match.

In the long-term, I am expecting Lesnar to go to Smackdown when the show moves over to FOX in a few months. In the short-term, this could be a fun direction to take Brock.
