Theory On The Plans For Brock Lesnar Now That He’s In The Royal Rumble Match

Paul Heyman made a big announcement on the January 6th episode of Monday Night RAW. He announced that Brock Lesnar will be taking part in the men’s Royal Rumble match this year. Not only that, Brock will be entering the match first.

I wanted to share my theory on what I think is going to happen with Brock now in the match.

I think that WWE has given us a major hint that a RAW star will not be winning the men’s Royal Rumble match this year. Brock being in the match seems like an easy way for them to set up the WWE Title feud at Wrestlemania 36. All it would take is for a RAW star to eliminate Brock from the match to set the feud into motion.

Just say that somebody like Ricochet is able to eliminate Lesnar from the Rumble match. This would be an easy way to set up a feud between Ricochet and Lesnar, which would lead to a Wrestlemania match between them. A Smackdown star would then go on to win the Royal Rumble, setting up a match between the winner and ‘The Fiend’ at Wrestlemania 36.

To me, this seems like a smart way for WWE to use the Rumble match to build up both of their top feuds at Wrestlemania. Brock’s Title isn’t on the line in this match, so him getting eliminated to set up his next feud makes a lot of sense.
