It seems like a lock that we are getting a triple threat match at Wrestlemania 35 for the RAW Women’s Championship. That would be Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair. The question is, how do we get there?
I had an idea that I wanted to pass your way about how I think that WWE will set it up.
I have a theory that WWE is planning a long-term storyline involving control over WWE. This will essentially be Triple H and Stephanie McMahon against Vince McMahon. The idea will be that Vince keeps doing things that he thinks are best for business. We have recently seen this with Vince replacing both Becky and Kofi Kingston in their Wrestlemania matches. Slowly, I think that Stephanie and Triple H will start disagreeing with Vince over some of these decisions.
I think that one of these arguments will involve Becky Lynch. Over the past few weeks, Ronda Rousey has been pleading with WWE to reinstate Becky into the RAW Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania. The last thing that we saw, she left the RAW Women’s Title in the ring and left the building.
I think that Triple H and Stephanie are going to end up agreeing with Ronda that Becky should be in the match. They know that Ronda and Becky in the ring together is ‘best for business’. As a result, I think that Stephanie and Triple H will plead their case to Vince that Becky should be allowed back.
Vince is not going to make it easy on Becky. I think that he is going to set up Becky vs Charlotte at Fastlane. If Becky wins, she joins the RAW Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania.
Could be a good way to set up both Fastlane and Wrestlemania. It also would plant some seeds for a future storyline over control of WWE.
