The 2019 Superstar Shake-Up will be taking place next week. The rosters on both RAW and Smackdown Live will be receiving a much-needed shuffle.
I have a theory that I wanted to pass your way about a change that I could see happening in the Shake-Up.
I think that this will be another year where we see the midcard belts switch brands.
That would be Samoa Joe moving to RAW with the United States Championship and Finn Balor moving over to Smackdown with the Intercontinental Championship.
Joe just started a feud with Braun Strowman and my guess is that the feud moves over to Monday Night RAW. I have Drew McIntyre moving over to Smackdown in the Shake-Up and becoming one of the first challengers for Kofi Kingston and the WWE Title. I think WWE will keep Drew and Braun on seperate brands. As a result, the Joe-Braun feud moving to RAW makes a lot of sense to me.
Finn Balor would also be a great fit on Smackdown. There would be plenty of fun matches for him on the blue brand and there is also a chance for WWE to put the ‘Balor Club’ together with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Plus, WWE just released some Balor merch that is blue, which may be a hint at his future.
