Smackdown Live this week was supposed to feature a fatal 4-way match. This was going to determine Asuka’s opponent at Wrestlemania for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. This match was supposed to feature Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Naomi, and Carmella.
This match was scrapped though and we got Charlotte Flair vs Asuka for the Title instead. Charlotte ended up winning the match to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.
