The Latest Rumor On WWE’s Plans In Japan

During a recent interview with The National, Triple H teased the opening of a couple new WWE Performance Centers. WWE already has two established, the one in Orlando and the new one in the UK.

During Triple H’s interview, he teased India, Latin America, the Middle East and other places as candidates for the next Performance Centers.

It looks like one of those ‘other places’ might end up being Japan.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), WWE recently had some company reps visit Japan over the past week.

The reason for the visit was to reportedly talk with different companies in Japan about business relations.

This opens the door for NXT Japan to potentially happen down the road.

This is obviously just in the preliminary stages. Still, it would be interesting to see WWE work with one of the many wrestling promotions in Japan.
