Dean Ambrose’s future has been a heavily discussed topic over the past few weeks. Many fans are skeptical that he is actually leaving because of how often WWE keeps referencing his contract status on television.

According to PWTorch’s Tom Colohue, WWE still believes that they can change Dean’s mind from leaving.

My Take: I wonder if the “certain assurances” would relate to Ambrose not joining AEW or another promotion. Maybe Dean assured WWE that he just wants to wrestle on the independent scene after he leaves and take a year off from the WWE schedule? This would make sense as to why Dean is still featured on WWE television, even though he is leaving. Dean has been a loyal company soldier for many years and it would make sense to reward him a little bit.
