Rumor 5: Sister Abigail’s Identity
Bray Wyatt teased on RAW this week that Sister Abigail wanted to meet Finn Balor. This led to some speculation that a female could be brought in for the role. We even saw a WWE developmental talent tease on Twitter that she was playing the role.
It turns out WWE is going in a much different direction:
According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the current plan is for Bray Wyatt to wrestle at the upcoming TLC Pay-Per-View using the name: ‘Sister Abigail’.
This will be similar to how Balor uses his ‘Demon King’ character. Bray will apparently be wearing a different outfit for the match.
According to the report, WWE is not planning to introduce a female for the ‘Sister Abigail’ character. It will be Bray dressing as the character….
Certainly much different than what most people expected.
Rumor 6: The Shield’s Official Reunion
WWE left us with a big tease on RAW this week about the Shield re-uniting. Current rumors suggest that there is an awesome reason why they waited this long for it to officially happen. Let us explain:
Survivor Series 2012 is known as the event where the Shield made their WWE debuts. They appeared for the first time during the main event between CM Punk, John Cena and Ryback. Survivor Series 2012 was held at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Fast forward to a few years later. Seth Rollins betrayed Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns on the June 2nd, 2014 episode of RAW. The Shield imploded in one of the most memorable moments of the past decade. That happened at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Next weeks episode (October 9th, 2017) of RAW just happens to take place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. It looks like the Shield could officially reunite in the same building where they first appeared on WWE television and where they broke up.
Pretty darn cool planning by WWE here.
