We are getting closer and closer to the WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia. The show will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. With the match card just about confirmed, we now get to shift towards some speculation about the event.
One of the big questions that we have been asked is which match will go on last at the event?
For me, it comes down to two possible choices. One option would be the Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins) vs the Dogs of War (Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre). The other would be the match between Triple H and the Undertaker. Both matches have received a significant amount of promotion from WWE over the past several weeks leading into this event. I wouldn’t be surprised to see either go on last.
So What Do I Think Will Go On Last?
My gut says that it is going to be the match between Triple H and the Undertaker in the main event spot. With the rumors of Shawn Michaels potentially coming out of retirement, my guess is that something will happen at the end of the match to set that into motion. That would mean Shawn getting involved in the match in some way. This would set up Shawn’s in-ring return for a future event. If Shawn is getting involved, I think that it makes a ton of sense to close the show with Triple H vs Undertaker. This will be a pretty big moment and I would think that they would want to save it for the end of the show.
I also think that Triple H and the Undertaker will close the show based on nostalgia purposes. This is the first big WWE event in Australia for many years, so I am guessing the Australian fans will be hyped to see some of their old favorites like the Undertaker, Triple H, Kane, and Michaels. From that standpoint, it also makes sense for it to go on last.
I would say that the only other match that has a chance is the Dogs of War vs the Shield. Still, I am giving the edge to the Triple H and the Deadman.
