AJ Styles will be facing Seth Rollins at the Money in the Bank PPV. This will be for the WWE Universal Championship.
I wanted to pass along my speculation about what I think will happen with AJ Styles over the next few months.
During the contract signing segment on RAW, Styles teased that Rollins no longer has his brothers watching his back. This was a reference to Roman Reigns moving to Smackdown Live and Dean Ambroise leaving the company.
I thought that this was a pretty big hint that Styles is going to eventually team back up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Rollins doesn’t have anyone watching his back anymore but Styles does now that Gallows & Anderson were moved over to the red brand. I think this was a big hint that we are going to be getting a reunion of the Club at some point over the next several weeks.
I also think that Styles will be turning heel in this feud. Styles, Gallows & Anderson were great as heels a few years ago, especially when they feuded with John Cena. I see WWE re-creating that feud with Rollins replacing Cena. My guess is that Rollins will beat Styles at Money in the Bank, which leads to Styles fully turning after the match.
This will set up a few more PPV matches between them over the next few months. I think that a lot of fans would be okay with more Styles vs Rollins matches.
