Speculation On The Short-Term Plans For Ronda Rousey

The Elimination Chamber PPV is only a few weeks away. The event has two Elimination Chamber matches confirmed for the show. This includes a Chamber match to determine the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

So what is Ronda Rousey going to do at the PPV? Let’s speculate a little bit.

I do think that Ronda is going to defend her RAW Women’s Title at the PPV. It would make sense with Becky Lynch currently serving a suspension (and being injured in kayfabe).

On RAW this week, WWE clearly planted some seeds towards Ronda vs Ruby Riott. This came after Ronda beat both Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. My guess is that WWE saves Ruby vs Ronda for the Chamber PPV.

Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan are the two members of the Riott Squad confirmed for the Women’s Chamber match. As a result, Ruby is free to challenge Ronda at the event (if WWE wants to go that route).

Ronda vs Ruby would provide us with a solid match for the Chamber card. We know that Ronda isn’t dropping the belt but this could still make for a fun match.
