One of the biggest matches of WWE Super Show-Down will be the 6-man tag team battle between The Shield and the Dogs of War. This match has received a ton of storyline build over the past several weeks and it should be a lot of fun.
So what is going to happen in this match and who is going to win? Let’s speculate a little bit here.
Let’s Start With The Big Question, Will Dean Ambrose Turn Heel?
A major storyline heading into the match is whether or not Dean Ambrose will turn on the Shield. This has been teased heavily by WWE over the past few weeks on Monday Night RAW and there is clear tension among the group.
I don’t think that Dean is going to turn heel in Australia. It just feels like WWE is teasing the heel turn a little bit too much for it to actually happen. To me, if WWE had plans to split them up, they would attempt another shocking moment that nobody saw coming. This would be similar to when Seth Rollins turned on the group several years ago. I think that Shield fans can breathe easy, for now at least.
So What Is Going To Happen In Australia?
I actually think that WWE is going to go the other way on this one. My gut says that Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler are going to be the ones splitting up. It was teased a little bit on RAW this week, but I think that Super Show-Down will be where they collapse. I think that Dolph and Drew will stick together (since they are the tag team Champs) but they will no longer be aligned with Braun moving forward.
My guess is that one of the Shield members pins Drew on Saturday. Braun flips out after the match and says that he doesn’t need two weak links on his team anymore. Braun isn’t a guy who really needs a faction so I think that they will go their separate ways.
What do you think will happen in the match on Saturday? Let me know in the comment section below.
On a related note, here is our speculation on the plans for Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair in Australia.
