The Survivor Series card received a major shake-up after the news of Becky Lynch being unable to compete at the event. This comes after she suffered an injury at the hands of Nia Jax. Ronda Rousey will now be facing Charlotte Flair instead.
So what is going to happen and who is going to win? Let’s speculate a little bit.
Let’s start with match quality
This has a chance to be the best (singles) match of Ronda’s career so far. As a fan, you are allowed to be upset that we aren’t getting Ronda vs Becky. Still, Charlotte vs Ronda is a pretty damn good second option if you ask me. I am expecting a quality match between these two ladies.
So who is going to win?
I have a strong feeling that we are not going to see a clean finish here. My gut says that this match is going to end in a no contest. This will come after Charlotte and Ronda are both attacked by Nia Jax and Tamina.
This accomplishes a few things. The most important thing is that it doesn’t give us a definitive winner between Ronda and Charlotte. I could see WWE saving the rematch for Wrestlemania 35 or later down the road. WWE was forced into rushing this match but I still think that it could be a money feud down the road. As a result, I think it would be smart to not have either win clean.
This also continues the build towards Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey, which will likely be taking place at TLC. Nia will get some extra heat on her for taking out Charlotte, who was the replacement picked by Becky Lynch. WWE seems to be going all-in on generating heat for Nia (after she injured Becky), so this would be another way to do that.
