A big surprise came during the match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble PPV. Rowan made his return from injury and helped Bryan retain the WWE Championship.
For those who are newer fans, there is some history between Bryan and Rowan. They were both members of the Wyatt Family together for a short period of time in 2014.
So where is this storyline heading? Let’s speculate a little bit.
Whatever happens, I think that Luke Harper will also be involved. Harper is rumored to be returning from injury soon, so he would be a good fit. I expect to see him joining up with Bryan and Rowan in a few weeks when he is cleared. As a
There are two ways that I think it could go:
- Bryan is the leader of a new faction with Harper and Rowan as his muscle. Bryan keeps his current character going but now just has Rowan and Harper helping him out.
- This is leading to a full-blown Wyatt Family reunion. This would mean Bray Wyatt eventually joining Bryan, Rowan, and Harper. Bray has been cleared from injury, so he could enter the fold over the next few weeks.
Either way, this could be great for Smackdown Live. I could see it leading towards the Club reforming down the road to combat them.
