It was confirmed on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW that we will be getting Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax for the RAW Women’s Championship. This will be happening at the upcoming TLC PPV.
I think that most fans would agree that we are more concerned about when Ronda will step in the ring with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. These are two matches that WWE has done a great job building over the past week or two. I thought that I would provide my own speculation on what the future has in store for Ronda.
Let’s start with the Royal Rumble
I have a feeling that we are going to see Charlotte vs Ronda II at the Royal Rumble PPV. I know that Survivor Series is supposed to be the only time of year that RAW and Smackdown face off but I feel like WWE will disregard that to book this match. The storyline is already built-in after Charlotte’s vicious attack on Ronda at Survivor Series. Ronda isn’t going to want to wait until Wrestlemania to get her hands on Charlotte after what happened.
Here is how I see it going.
I think Becky Lynch will be forced to vacate the Smackdown Women’s Championship due to injury. Charlotte Flair wins the belt at TLC. Charlotte and Ronda then face off in a Champion vs Champion match at the Rumble. WWE had both Charlotte and Alexa Bliss off the card last year at the Royal Rumble (as the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Champions). I say give both Champions something to do this time. The storyline is already built in.
So what about Becky Lynch?
I think that Becky will return at the Royal Rumble to a massive ovation. She will win the Rumble and challenge Ronda. Personally, I think Becky vs Ronda is the match that WWE should do at Wrestlemania 35 and I think this could be a good way to book it.

On a related note, Jessamyn Duke explained why the Four Horsewomen didn’t help Ronda at Survivor Series. You can read her comments here.
