Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley both won triple threat matches this past week on Monday Night RAW. As a result, they will now face off to see who will challenge Brock Lesnar at Summerslam for the WWE Universal Championship.
So who is going to win? Let’s speculate a little bit!
I am pretty conflicted on this one. On one hand, I don’t think WWE would have had Lashley defeat Reigns at Extreme Rules if Reigns was just going to end up being the guy to face Brock. On the other hand, I don’t think that Roman will lose twice in a row to Lashley.
After thinking about it, I am pretty certain that we will see both of them end up as Brock’s Summerslam opponents. This would make it a triple threat, Brock vs Roman vs Lashley. I think a big factor in this decision will be so Brock can do a limited amount of work in the ring. He is going to fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship and I doubt that he wants to get hurt. There is a massive payday on the way for Brock and I feel like he is going to want to avoid injury as best he can. Having both Lashley and Reigns involved would be a way to lessen the role of Brock in the match.
I am not sure how exactly the match between Reigns and Lashley will end on Monday. Maybe a double count out or something along those lines. Something that doesn’t give us a definitive winner.
