News broke back in July that Hulk Hogan was being reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. Many WWE fans and Superstars expressed their opinions on WWE bringing Hogan back after the racial comments that he made several years ago.
Since that news broke, Hogan has not made an appearance on WWE Television. So when could the Hulkster be back?
There is some speculation floating around that Hogan could be involved at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Mike Johnson of PWInsider says that Saudi Arabia wanted him for the Greatest Royal Rumble event several months ago but that didn’t happen as Hogan wasn’t even reinstated yet. Here is a quote from Johnson (via Ringside News):
“I’m curious to see if they book Hogan for the Saudi Arabia show. Saudi Arabia wanted him the first time and we reported. Now that he’s reportedly quote unquote cleared for the Hall of Fame. They say that publicly but there are still a number of people that I speak to in the company that still roll their eyes at him. Trust me on that.”
With the rumors of Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels potentially getting some major money to wrestle at the Crown Jewel event, maybe Hulk wants in too?
Also, there was the report a few months ago that Saudi Arabia requested for WWE to bring back some stars from the 1990’s. Hulk Hogan would fit that bill pretty damn well in terms of nostalgia.
