Speculation On How A Scrapped Match Delayed Plans For The Authors Of Pain And Sanity

One of the biggest questions that WWE fans have right now is why the Authors of Pain and Sanity have done nothing since being called up to the main roster. The Authors of Pain were showcased at the start but haven’t been on RAW for several weeks now. Sanity has only received some occasional vignettes on Smackdown Live.

So what is up with the delay for both teams?

Some new speculation suggests that the scrapped tag team Money in the Bank ladder match could be to blame. Here is a quote from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live (h/t to Ringside News):

“One of the other reasons they are not around is that there was in fact going to be a tag team Money In The Bank ladder match. There was going to be 3 of them. Men’s, women’s, and tag team. We talked about this the day after the pay-per-view when they had a bunch of tag teams randomly talking about the Money In The Bank ladder match on Raw. But it got dropped because there was going to be a tag team Money In The Bank ladder match.”

It would make a bit of sense. Those tag team vignettes (like Breezango and the Authors of Pain) seemed out-of-place if there were no plans at all for a tag team ladder match. After WWE scrapped the plans, it left both the Authors of Pain and Sanity in limbo. Sounds better to me instead of WWE just not having any creative plans for either team.

Speaking of Money in the Bank, here are 11 of the biggest rumors floating around about the event.
