Ronda Rousey is currently involved in a feud with Nia Jax. They will be facing off for the RAW Women’s Championship at the upcoming TLC PPV event.
We wanted to pass along some speculation your way about a heel turn that could be coming, involving Ronda.
The speculation comes from Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here).
Meltzer brought up Natalya potentially turning on Ronda. This is something that WWE had planned in the past but scrapped. Here is a quote (via Ringside News):
“Natalya at this point was supposed to turn on Ronda but they held it back because when Jim Neidhart died they figured that they shouldn’t turn Natalya, and agreed. They probably shouldn’t have turned Natalya at that time, that wouldn’t be good. But now I think they could do that and it’d be fine.”
The key word is speculation. I thought it was interesting though. I could see WWE turning Natalya soon and having her face Ronda for the RAW Women’s Championship at one of the PPV events before Wrestlemania 35.
