7) The Rules Of The Flag Match Have Changed
This week’s episode of Smackdown Live featured a promo from John Cena. Cena explained that the only way to win on Sunday in his match against Rusev is to retrieve your country’s flag from the corner.
This will be different from the Summerslam 2014 Flag Match where Rusev defeated Jack Swagger via submission:
This Flag Match is gonna be so boring, you just grab the flag and that’s it. #SDLive

So we’re getting the “climbing” flag match instead of that crap we saw at SummerSlam 2014?

Not thrilled about this one. Hopefully it exceeds my expectations.
8) Battleground Kickoff Match (Likely) Set
It appears as if Tye Dillinger and Aiden English will wrestle on the kickoff show at Battleground. WWE posted this video of Aiden English who talks about facing Dillinger on Sunday.
As of writing this, it hasn’t been made official but expect it to be added soon:
EXCLUSIVE: @WWEDramaKing plans to turn #Perfect10 @WWEDillinger into a “perfect ZERO” this Sunday at #WWEBattleground! #SDLive pic.twitter.com/FIZLFhVnFO

This match has had zero build but looks like WWE is throwing it on the card anyways:
