1) WWE Is Pushing “The Artist Known As Shinsuke Nakamura”
This weeks episode of Smackdown Live kicked off with Shinsuke Nakamura! Renee Young introduced him as “the artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura”.
You might have noticed over the past few weeks that WWE has been branding him as ‘The Artist”. This seems like it is a permanent change for him moving forward.
@WWE please just call him “Nakamura” or “Shinsuke Nakamura” and NOT “the artist known as Nakamura.”

@WWE stop referring to Nakamura as “The Artist.” He doesn’t need a bullshit nickname to get over. He’s been over since day one. #SDLive

Why do they call him the artist? #SDLive his shirt has a ninja star and sword…..

I guess he is no longer the ‘King of Strong Style’…?
2) Still No In-Ring Debut For Nakamura
Nakamura was almost immediately interrupted by Dolph Ziggler in the opening segment of Smackdown Live. He went on to insult Nakamura for his lack of English. After some back and forth on the mic, it led to Nakamura almost hitting a ‘Kinsasha’ on Dolph, who rolled out of the ring in time.
This interview just got PHYSICAL! @ShinsukeN has turned the tables on @HEELZiggler! #SDLive pic.twitter.com/wJzl3wqENy

We are yet to see Nakamura wrestle on Smackdown Live. It is likely that the company is keeping his first match for the Backlash PPV that is still several weeks away.
Expect to see some more filler segments like this over the next few weeks as they save his debut for a big moment.
