The Ascension faced off against the Hype Bros on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live in a tag team match. They cut a quick promo before the match.
The Ascension were sporting a new look with some unique face paint:

If you thought this meant that they were in store for a push, you were mistaken. The Ascension lost to the Hype Bros after a decent match.
Looks like the Ascension have a new look but the same booking that has kept them looking bad since they were called up from NXT several years ago.
