1) Confirmed Injury to AJ Styles

This week’s episode of Smackdown LIVE kicked off with WWE World Champion: AJ Styles. Styles was sporting a walking boot on his left foot.

This was confirming the reports that AJ was injured during his Tables, Ladders and Chairs match against Dean Ambrose at the TLC PPV.

AJ said that because of the injury, he was not medically cleared to face James Ellsworth for the WWE World Championship:

The big takeaway is that Styles is hurt and the WWE is giving him some time to heal. I am glad WWE is allowing for him to rest it and don’t risk him causing any more damage. WWE needs AJ in top form heading into Wrestlemania season.
