It was announced on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live that there would be a fatal 4-way elimination match to determine the next challenger for AJ Styles and his WWE World Title.
Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler vs Luke Harper vs the Miz. The winner will face AJ Styles on the December 27th episode of Smackdown Live.
Dolph Ziggler ended up picking up the win. Earning a title shot against AJ Styles in 2 weeks. This was a surprise considering how Ziggler has been booked over the past few months.
