News broke prior to Smackdown Live this week that the U.S Title match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy was pulled from the episode. WWE only said that Nakamura was pulled due to injury but no details were given.
So what happened to Nakamura? It turns out that he was injured after an incident with a dog.
Dave Meltzer says that Nakamura was bit in the leg by a police dog at WWE’s live event in Bakersfield:
