Shane McMahon Speaks On Facing The Undertaker and Wrestling In-Front Of His Sons

Shane McMahon was recently on ESPN’s Sportscenter to discuss a wide variety of topics as we get closer to WrestleMania 32. Shane is set to take on the Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match, where if he wins, he will be in charge of running RAW.

On Facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania in front of potentially 100,000 plus fans:

“I’m really excited to be in there. I’m nervous to be in there. It’s a whole different atmosphere. When you’re against a guy that big… And I have so much respect for The Undertaker. He’s the measuring stick of the business. He’s carried the business on his back for quite some time. I’ve known him a very long time. But when you’re in there it’s intimidating, so you just got to let it rip and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’m kind of known for I will do anything, especially when the stakes are high, I will definitely do that just as I showed the other night, so I will give it everything I possibly have.”

On what it means to him to wrestle in front of his sons:

“That’s my main reason. It’s extremely emotional for me. It’s not often that you get to see your dad like a real life superhero. And to perform at WrestleMania in front of 100,000 people, that experience for my sons… there’s no bigger gift that I can possibly ever give them than that experience. It should be a wonderful thing and I’m really excited about it.”
