As noted prior, Seth Rollins suffered a rib injury at Clash of Champions in his match against Kevin Owens. Owens gave Seth a gutbuster off of the top rope that landed awkwardly. Seth looked to be in a lot of pain but was able to finish the match. He ended up losing to Kevin Owens after some interference from Chris Jericho.
The WWE turned this into a storyline for this weeks RAW, where Seth was not cleared to compete. He stormed the ring during the ‘Highlight Reel’ segment with Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho but was stopped by security and Mick Foley. He ended up leaving, without doing anything physical.
Seth provided fans with an injury update on Twitter, saying that he will be good to go next week:
Wrestling hurts, but that’s part of the price paid to live in dreams. Crushed ribs or not, I’ll be in LA for #Raw next week..ready to fight.
