Here are some reasons why I think that WWE should turn Seth Rollins heel.
5) A Large Chunk Of The WWE Universe Has Already Turned On Seth
Seth Rollins has been pushed as the top babyface on Monday Night RAW over the past year (or so). While saying that, it is no secret that Seth’s crowd reaction has taken a hit over the past little while.
A decent chunk of the WWE audience have seemingly soured on Seth over the past few months. His crowd reaction seems to be mixed, with him receiving a lot more boos after his recent feud with Bray Wyatt. I am not blaming Seth though, his booking in the Wyatt feud was pretty bad. Still, it is hard to deny that his crowd reaction has taken a hit.
With the crowd split on Seth right now, I think that it would make sense to turn him heel. Seth could play into the boos, saying that the crowd never really supported him.
4) Seth Rollins Has Always Excelled As A Heel
For my own personal preference, I have always enjoyed Seth Rollins more as a heel. His heel run after The Shield broke-up was amazing and I think that he excels as a cocky, chickenshit character.
Based on some of his online comments over the past few months, some fans have painted him as a company man who is extremely loyal to Vince McMahon. WWE could easily turn that into a storyline, having Seth as Vince’s hand-picked guy. That could be a fun direction to go for him and would play into real-life stuff.
If I had to choose between babyface or heel Seth, I am going with the latter every time. This is nothing against babyface Seth, I just think that he is better as a heel. I don’t think I am alone in that thought either.
